Gifts that need to be linked to registration fees should be imported in the initial import of the gift record and in the same pass used to add the constituent as a participant to an event.

1. Go to ImportOmatic configuration
2. Highlight Profiles and select the desired profile by double clicking to open
3. In the navigation pane to the left of the profile field map, select "Participants > Gift Linking"
4. Under "Gift Linking", select to "Link Gift Information to Participant record as Registration Fees"

Selecting this option will allow any mapped gift information to be linked back to the participant record as a registration fee payment
