Open the statement template to ensure the changes are correct. Close the pdf document; the statement template should not be saved after it is opened. This will cause it to save in a new version of Adobe, which can lead to errors.
To save the new statement template:
- Delete the old template file. It may be saved in the \Program Files\Blackbaud\The Financial Edge\Plugins folder, a network folder, or the Contents folder in Hosting. If the old template isn't found in your Plugins folder, it may be saved in a network folder. To find where it's saved, go to MOMS Settings. On the General tab, at the bottom next to "Template and Report Folder" you'll see a path - this is where the old template is saved
- Save or Download the statement template that was emailed to you or attached to your Support case. Do not choose to open and save it
- If you aren't given the choice of where to save the template, it will likely default to saving in your Downloads folder
- Highlight and copy the statement template, then paste into the location where your original statement was saved. If you are hosted by Blackbaud, upload the template from your Downloads folder to the location in your Contents folder where the original was saved
- The file must be named "SBSTATEMENT.pdf". If your original is named anything else, right click and choose 'Rename'. Do not open the file and choose to 'Save as'
