Issue: 

User Defined Business Rules Set to Pop-Up in Batch Do Not Pop-Up When Tabbing Through Records in the Gift Batch.

Answer: 

When a user enters a gift in a batch manually in The Raiser's Edge they get the prompt from the applicable user defined business rule.  However, once they have left that row and saved the batch, when opening the batch again and tabbing through the row, the prompt from the business rule will not show again. The pop-up will also stop appearing if the user exits the row and then re-enters the row without saving the batch. 

When a user imports a gift batch via IOM, the user is in the same state as a manually entered batch that has been re-opened or a row that has already been tabbed through and the pop-up has already appeared. Because of this behavior, the user defined business rule pop-up will not show when tabbing through the row.
