All mapped phone types must follow the same processing rule selection. An alternative solution that can be used is to apply a skip row dictionary to the phone type column. You may then include the phone types that you do not want to update in the skip row dictionary. When those types are seen by the system during the importing process, the entire record will be sent to the exceptions.csv output file.
