Exception for Duplicate Phones during Import

We recently upgraded our version of RE so that phones/emails are no longer attached to address. Once that happened, we're starting to get the following error with some rows in our most-used profile: "A duplicate phone number and phone type exists. Remove the duplicate to save the record."

What can we do to deal with this before these get kicked out as exceptions? This import has been working really well otherwise for the past year or so (pulling in membership and gift information for new and existing constituents).
