I was hoping to survey the group to see how people we're managing Peer-to-Peer recognition in Raiser's Edge 7, both for events (eg. sponsoring a runner) and friends & family style campaigns. Currently we're using a mish-mash of approaches including: soft credits, gift attributes, tribute records, gift solicitors (attaching a record to a gift as a solicitor without adding a solicitor relationship), specific appeal codes by fundraiser, and package codes. We're also looking at using the events tab for this purpose.
I'd like to standardize how we track gifts brought in by specific fundraisers for easier reporting. We use both imported lists from online and offline sources, as well as manual entry, so we're looking for an approach that works well with both. Would you be able to share what you're currently doing and how well it works?
