We use a non constituent organisation to link our staff to on Raiser's Edge, so that users are not constantly bombarbed with "you can't save this record as user x is in it". We have thousands of staff records. We use a constituent code and attributes to codes them as staff and identify their relationship in that manner.
We want to use IOM to add new staff and wish to map the relationship to the existing non constituent organisation record using the organisation ID or import ID. Is this actually possible? It's basically a static field.
You'll use the import ID for the non-constituent organization relationship. If you open the existing relationship, go to properties and grab the Organization Import ID. You can add this in the Field Name in a Virtual Field.
Map the ID to Record Type = Organization Relationship and Value Type = Constituent Import ID. The function will be Static Field.
Test this on one or two rows to see if you're getting the desired results.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
