When retrieving data from Convio we do not use the connector. We have it but found that we could not get all the information we needed in one simple file. Instead, I click on the Fundraising tab, Donation Management, Donation Reports, select Transactions report and specifiy filters and run.
I download this report to Excel, run a macro that I have created to take out extra columns and add those I need and export to a batch through IOM.
I would be happy to talk to anyone more about this process if they have questions.
I hope this helps.

Hi Heather:
I am really interested in the process you did. I use the same report, but I don't know how I can get rid of the columns which I don't need. Whick column you theat as appeal column. Normally I download 3 reports 1)donation transaction report 2) team summary report 3) team participant report
From 2) and 3) we know which donation is employee donation and which onw is community group donation. Any thoughs?
