Omit bad email addresses using dictionaries?

We often get bad email addresses, which we want to omit during the import process.  For example: jdoe@fake_email.com The address almost always contains the word "fake", which makes it easy to spot.  Can the -- BLANK -- feature in dictionaries be used to omit the entire email address if the word "fake" is present?

Hi Shannon,

It would stand to reason that the blank function would work provided you are able to create a regular expression that looks for the word "fake" in the text. Although we do not support the writing of custom regular expressions, I can point you in the direction of a resource that has some good information on using regular expressions.

http://www.regular-expressions.info/email.html

The website has lots of useful information to help you better understand regular expressions.

You may also want to consider doing some web-based searches of your own to see if you able to find some regular expressions that would work.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Best,

Callie
