Updated... How to Import Pledges

Proper planning of importing pledges with schedules will make what seems like a daunting task quite simple!  


A basic pledge import at minimum, must include the fields required in Raiser's Edge to create a gift record. Those fields are the Gift Date, Gift Type, Gift Amount and Fund.  To import pledges with schedules, you must include the fields required to populate the installment schedule.  The fields that you will need to change is based on which installment frequency is used for the pledge.  The grid below shows the fields required  to populate the pledge installment schedule, along with an explanation of which frequency requires which fields.
