Overall System Requirements
Since Omatic products run on Blackbaud products, Blackbaud’s minimum system requirements for The Raiser’s Edge or The Financial Edge must be met. Blackbaud’s most current system requirements can be found here.
Omatic products follow the same operating system support that Blackbaud products follow. Generally speaking, we support an operating system when it is supported / compatible with Blackbaud products and we typically end support for an operating system when it is no longer compatible with Blackbaud products. Blackbaud’s policy on operating system support can be found here.
NOTE: Blackbaud ended support for Windows XP on July 14th, 2015. More information can be found here. As such, we will no longer test Omatic products for Windows XP compatibility and we will no longer address product related issues for Windows XP.
Blackbaud product compatibility
Omatic products are tested on the latest version of The Raiser's Edge or The Financial Edge. Rest assured that we still provide support for Omatic products on older versions of The Raiser's Edge or The Financial Edge. However, if you experience an issue that is resolved in the latest version of our software, you may need to upgrade to the latest version of The Raiser's Edge or The Financial Edge in order to resolve your issue.
How to check your Blackbaud product version:
- Log into the software.
- Select Help, About <product name> from the menu bar.
- The full software version and revision number is listed in the pop-up window.
For ImportOmatic, ensure that you are running The Raiser's Edge version 7.85 or higher.
For MergeOmatic, ensure that you are running The Raiser’s Edge version 7.92 or higher.
