The Gift ID or Gift Import ID will need to be included in the file.

For versions 3.3.2.5 and Earlier:

If the gift is for a registration fee, map this column to Record Type = Participant and Value Type = Registration Fees - Linked Gift ID or Registration Fees - Linked Gift Import ID

If the gift is a sponsoring pledge, map this column to Record Type = Participant and Value Type = Sponsoring Pledge - Linked Gift ID or Sponsoring Pledge - Linked Gift Import ID

If the gift is an other donation, map this column to Record Type = Participant and Value Type = Other Donation - Linked Gift ID or Other Donation - Linked Gift Import ID

The rest of the Proposal information will be mapped as usual.

For version 3.4 and Later:

If the gift is for a registration fee, map this column to Raiser's Edge Field = Participant>Registration Fees>Linked Gift ID OR Linked Gift Import ID

If the gift is a sponsoring pledge, map this column to Raiser's Edge Field = Participant>Sponsoring Pledge>Sponsoring Pledge - Linked Gift ID OR Linked Gift Import ID

If the gift is an other donation, map this column to Raiser's Edge Field = Participant>Other Donation>Linked Gift ID OR Linked Gift Import ID
