The current date or the date that the import is run can be added as a value in a date or comment field by using a function in a virtual field. To add the current date to a date field or a comment field using virtual fields:
- Open the profile in question through ImportOmatic Configuration
- Select Virtual Fields in the profile navigation pane of the profile that appears on the left hand side of the profile window
- Right Click in the screen to "Insert Virtual Column"
- Select the appropriate Record Type and Value Type
- Select the drop down in the "Function" column and select "Current Date"
This will allow the current date to be placed in the field indicated in the value type for the specific record type selected.
