This solution describes when MailOmatic adds an action to a recipient record

To have an action added to a recipient's record, the action type must be created in the Action Types table in The Financial Edge/Education Edge.  The action type must then be assigned in the SB Settings tab and/or the RO Settings tab in the Settings area of MOMS.

The action will be added to the recipient's record when the email is sent out. If an error occurs before the email can go out, no action will be created. If a recipient is grayed out due to being marked "Requests no email" or because he or she does not have an email, an action won't be created.

If the email is bounced back after it's been sent from MOMS, the action will be created. Because the email went out of MOMS successfully, the action is created.
