Answer:

To import gifts to a gift batch, open the IOM profile and highlight "Gifts" in the left hand navigation pane. On the right of the "Gifts" view, select the check box labeled "Import Gifts to a Batch". You may additionally fill out a name for the batch in the active field after selecting the check box option.
