To resolve ensure that there is a default application set for viewing .pdf files on your workstation.

To set a default application for .pdf viewing, please use the steps below:
  1. Go to the Windows Start menu
  2. Select the Control Panel
  3. Select Programs
  4. Select Default Programs
  5. Select "Associate a file type of protocol with a program"
  6. Allow the extensions list to load, locate the extension in question ".pdf" and highlight to select
  7. Select the "Change Program" button at the top right of the extension list view
  8. Select either Chrome or Firefox
