When importing gifts to batch you can choose a batch template. This option doesn't default the batch values, but it will copy the column order of an existing batch.

If the batch was deleted in The Raisers Edge, ImportOmatic will give this error upon closing an existing profile indicating that the template no longer exists or was deleted.

In the profile, go to Gifts in the left side navigation pane. Towards the bottom of the screen you'll see an area for importing to batch. There is a check box, Create new batch from an existing batch 'template' and then you'll see the name of an existing batch.



You can either uncheck the box completely (templates aren't necessary as they only populate the column order) or you can choose a valid batch to use as the template.

Alternately, if you aren't importing gifts at all, or don't want to import to batch, you can uncheck the box to Import gifts to a batch.
