This error is stating that the "Phone Type"  under "Defaults" within the left hand navigation pane processing rules. A different "Phone Type" must be selected in the "Phone Type" field.

Steps to resolve:

  1. Open IOM
  2. Open IOM Configuration
  3. Open the profile in question
  4. Highlight "Defaults" in the left hand navigation pane
  5. Select an email type from the drop down within the field labeled "Phone Type"
  6. Save and Close profile.
