The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) for European residents will take effect on 25 May 2018. These increased regulations are designed to ensure utmost protection and privacy of individual's personal information. Throughout 2018, Blackbaud will be releasing updates to many of its products to aid organizations in their GDPR compliance efforts. Omatic is also reviewing all of our products and making updates as necessary in conjunction with Blackbaud's functionality changes.

As of the end of 2017, there are no necessary changes to ImportOmatic. Blackbaud is planning to update Raiser's Edge in early Q1 2018 to add Consent functionality to records. Omatic's development team has already begun ensuring ImportOmatic will include the ability to import Consent details to constituent records. Our goal is to release the update to ImportOmatic as near to the Raiser's Edge update as possible. We will provide further details regarding the addition of this import functionality as we get closer to the release date of those new features.
