Description: This solution describes how to refresh an export source

Versions: 3.2 and above

Answer: 

There may be times when the export source connector needs to be refreshed in the profile. If you changed fields in the RE Query or RE Export, or if there were updates to the connector in a new version of IOM, the source will need to be refreshed to apply those changes.

1. Open your Export profile

2. Click on Source

3. Select your source and choose whether to attempt to remap based on name or index, or to clear mapping

Attempt to update existing field mapping

This option replaces the existing field mapping and replaces it with new fields and attempts to automatically map fields.  Select which method you wish for IOM to use in its mapping attempt.

Match existing fields by name

Match fields based on the field name.

Match existing fields by index

Match fields based on which column (A, B, C...) they are in.

Clear the existing field mapping

This option replaces the existing field mapping and replaces it with new fields with no attempt to automatically map fields.
