Answer:

Clean up options are found by going to the field mapping screen and clicking on the gear icon to the right of your mapping.

Select Clean up, and a new screen will appear with the different clean up options available. Below we will walk through the Ignore time zone differences when processing records to ensure the appropriate date options.

When are pulled into the Omatic Cloud, dates from the different connectors come in a wide variety of time zones.  During the processing of these records, the Omatic Cloud transforms these dates to Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).  In addition, In some cases this date is then transformed to the timezone of the destination system.  Other times the date is sent to the destination system in UTC.

There may be situations where you want to override the behavior when sending a date to the destination system and use the source date and time.  This is most common when dealing with a date only field in the destination system.  Suppose the source system provides dates and times in Central Standard Time and the destination typically takes date and time fields in UTC.  If the date portion of the CST time zone is different from the UTC date portion then when formatting for a scenario such as date only field in destination, then the incorrect date may end up in the destination.  Consider the examples below:

Source Date/Time (CST)         Destination Date/Time (UTC)         Destination Date Only (MM/DD/YYYY)

5/1/2022 10:00 AM                5/1/2022 04:00 PM                        05/01/2022

5/1/2022 10:15 PM                5/2/2022 04:15 AM                        05/02/2022

When considering the examples above, the second row may end up with an incorrect date in the destination system, depending on your requirements.  If this behavior was incorrect and you wanted to use the source date and time instead for a date only field then selecting your Date and Time format and checking the box for Ignore time zone differences when processing records to ensure the appropriate date would result in the behavior below.

Source Date/Time (CST)         Destination Date/Time (UTC)         Destination Date Only (MM/DD/YYYY) with Ignore checked

5/1/2022 10:00 AM                5/1/2022 04:00 PM                        05/01/2022

5/1/2022 10:15 PM                5/2/2022 04:15 AM                        05/01/2022

NOTE - A date and time format must be chosen in the dropdown above the checkbox before the user can choose/use the checkbox to use the source date and time instead of the transformed date and time.
